Protection of your personal data is important to us at SensorNordic. We take your security seriously, and will ensure that your information is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Act in force at all times, including the GDPR.

Please read this statement carefully. It provides important information about how we use personal data and explains your legal rights.

Our customer relationship

We collect and use the following information about you:

Your / company's phone number

Your / company email address

Company details

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • Enter into agreements, install alarms and provide you with the monitoring service you have chosen, process requests from you for services, provide you with offers as well as invoicing for such services.
  • Administration of our business, including: credit checks, hardware and software updates, technical support, handling customer service and price adjustments. In order to be able to provide relevant price adjustments for our various customer categories, we assess parameters such as product, contract duration and customer relationship.
  • Send you customer satisfaction surveys to gain a better understanding of the areas in which we can improve our service, and to provide individual follow-up and feedback to you.
  • Contact your contacts to educate them on their roles and responsibilities. After this we will only contact them if your alarm is triggered and we cannot get hold of you. If you provide us with the personal information of a selected alarm contact, you confirm that you have informed them that we will use their personal information for the purpose of having them as an alarm contact. When we receive the name and email address of your alarm contacts, we can send them our privacy policy (unless they already have information about how we process our data). We encourage you to add e-mails for all your alarm contacts and to create user accounts for them. This will make it easier for us to communicate our privacy policy to them.
  • Send you e-mails and SMS with offers, useful information and status reports for your products etc. You can choose not to receive these inquiries at any time by using the contact information below.

The collection and use of personal data as described above takes place in accordance with the Personal Data Act. The processing of personal data is in most cases necessary to fulfill our agreements with you, cf. GDPR art. 6 (1) b, but in the case of using an alarm contact, the processing is necessary to protect your vital interests, cf. GDPR art. 6 (1) d. Marketing activities and purposes such as customer service and surveys and profiling are based on our legitimate interests, cf. GDPR art. 6 (1) f and in some cases consent according to GDPR art. 6 (1) a.

None of the aforementioned processing of personal data results in significant or legal decisions being made about you on a fully automated basis.
Support cases submitted by email are stored for 3 years. Telephone conversations with customer service are not saved.

Information we share with others

We never sell your information to third parties.

We may disclose information to public authorities if there is a legal basis, such as a possible criminal case, or that emergency services must be contacted to protect your vital interests, cf. GDPR art. 6 (1) c.
